Once again the wine of Gioia del Colle takes centre stage in the world. Tenuta Patruno Perniola, a winery of our territory, won the silver medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2013.
Among more than 8,200 wines from every corner of the earth, the Primitivo Gioia del Colle “Marzagaglia” took second place, appreciated by all for its qualities. Created in 1994, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is a sort of world championship for wine and spirits, given the quality of the entries in competition.
The samples in competition represent more than 500 million bottles on the market. Made up exclusively of professionals, the jury that awarded the Primitivo of Gioia del Colle brings together every year the greatest international experts in the field, with judges of more than 40 nationalities. This is why the recognition given to the wine of Gioia del Colle is truly prestigious.
