This privacy policy is provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) to anyone who visits the site and interacts with its forms.

Types of data processed

Browsing data

The computer systems that operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (for example IP address, browser type, device parameters, request times). This data is used solely to ensure the correct operation and security of the site.

Data provided voluntarily through the forms

The site offers a contact form and a form to request a wine quote. Submitting the forms involves processing the data entered: first name, last name, email address, telephone number, address, city, postcode, country, message content and, for the quote, the selected wines with their quantities. This data is used solely to respond to the request and, where requested, to prepare a quote.

Purposes and legal bases

  • responding to requests submitted through the forms and managing quotes: performance of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject and/or the data subject’s consent (Art. 6(1)(b) and (a) GDPR);
  • operation, security and protection of the site against abuse and spam: legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
  • compliance with any legal obligations: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Form protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To protect the forms against automated submissions and abuse, the site uses the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam service, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. This service may process certain technical data (for example the IP address and information about the device and browser) in order to distinguish real users from automated systems.

Google Maps

The site integrates the Google Maps service, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to show the location of the Estate. The map is blocked by default and is loaded only after the user’s consent: until then, no data is transmitted to Google. By activating the map, the user consents to the connection with Google’s servers and to the related data processing under Google’s terms.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses technical cookies necessary for its operation and security, as well as services subject to consent managed through the dedicated banner. For full details please refer to the Cookie Policy.

Disclosure and dissemination of data

Data is not disseminated. It may be processed, on behalf of the Controller and as data processors, by the providers of the technical services required for the operation of the site and the sending of communications (hosting provider and email service). Data is not transferred to third parties for marketing purposes.

Transfer of data to third countries

Some of the services used (Cloudflare for anti-spam and, subject to consent, Google Maps) may involve the transfer of data to third countries. Such transfers take place in compliance with the safeguards provided for by Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Retention period

Data provided through the forms is retained for the time necessary to handle the request and for any period required by legal obligations. Browsing data and security logs are retained only for the time strictly necessary for their purposes.

Rights of the data subject

The data subject may at any time exercise the rights provided for by Articles 15-22 of the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection to processing and data portability, as well as withdraw any consent given. Requests should be sent to the Controller at info@tenutapatrunoperniola.it.

The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

Changes to this privacy policy

The Controller reserves the right to amend or update this privacy policy, including as a result of regulatory changes or changes to the services used. Any changes will be published on this page.
